Time

Time goes by, like a river flows 
It moves too fast, as through our lives it rolls 
But I'm taking my time with you, to sing you my song 
I've got a lot to say, and it won't take long 

Wasting time, is easy enough to do
But I know I'm not wasting my time with you
Life is much simpler than, most people believe
Seek peace and do no harm, then take your leave

Give your heart, don't ever be afraid 
Fall in love, and treasure every day 
A lot of what I know I learned, from missteps now and then 
But lessons learned and pages turned, remind me once again…. 
That….

Time will fly, days are in short supply
Seize those days; don't let them pass you by
All that we call our own, is not ours at all
It's only out on loan, and can be recalled

Time goes by, and time will take it's toll
